so anyways, from my last post till now, MANY things have happened.
Christmas passed, new year passed, chinese new year passed and before i know it, the favourite part of the year is OVER.
just pretend that you are very interested to know how i spent my Christmas, new year and CNY ok.
I SPENT MY CHRISTMAS in CHURCH! had lunch with darius, cein, darius' mum and darius&cein's cousin at Taka Angus Steakhouse before rushing to church.
the "concert" was good because the Message was put across clearly.
we sang as well as we could :')
i really hope people always remember what Christmas commemorates, which people really don't, sadly. Jesus is the Son of God. He came into the world to dwell among us, and to die on the cross in our place. remember that!
i totally look like CHUCKY here. boxing day at cind's place. lala really hates this photo i don't know why!
new year's eve was spent counting God's blessings at Dr Yip & Dr Ho's house every year.
darius sharing his thanksgiving. i'm quite touched he included me in his thanksgiving content this year :)
i don't know how many people spent 1 Jan 2010 morning in a hangover but i woke up early to go to Uncle Jonathan & Aunty Helen's for lunch!! :) charis is the centre of attraction :)
then darius and i went to Great World to watch Avatar. my first time watching a movie in 3D. yeah i know i'm very fast thank you. anyways, i don't like Avatar. the blue people are ugly. and human beings are portrayed as a race malicious enough to deserve wipe-out. i don't like.
then we went to meet my fam at Yio Chu Kang to go to Uncle Yam & Aunty Wee Lee's house together. it was the first YAF of 2010! i ate a lot!
so finally, CNY is here. we ate steamboat at home for our reunion dinner. again, we resolute to eat out next year. year by year, doodoo will relent on the idea a little. i think we're getting close. next year there's a possibility that we can eat out for reunion dinner! no family photos cos we look very chui at home.
anyways i used to SHOU SHUI until very very very very late on cny eves, thinking that it will earn longevity for my parents. but now that i know it's not true, i can just sleep in peace whenever i want, oh yay!
CHU 1 - aunty's house, followed by uncle's house (haha, so informative) darius came along, just like last year and the year before :)
CHU 2 - da bing xiao jiang with my fam & darius :) i also watched 14 blades with darius on cny eve's eve. both are GOOD! donnie yen's good-looking, even though he's not good-looking, if you know what i mean.
we met gwen ong yi ting & jesley at Ion. i did a good ambush on her. it was a good chu 2.
CHU 3 - YPF visitation to Jingwen & Haowen's house, Matthew & Martin's house, Liu Hong & Liu Kai's house. us travelling round the island from Chinese Garden to Bukit Timah to Admiralty.
